This Privacy Policy explains how HyperBolt Technologies LLC (“HyperBolt,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and safeguards information when you use HyperTask AI (the “App”), our websites, and related services (together, the “Service”). It also describes your rights and choices. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the App.

1) Scope & Who This Applies To

This Policy applies to users of our mobile apps and websites. It does not cover third-party services that link to or integrate with our Service; those have their own privacy terms.


2) Information We Collect

2.1 Information you provide

  • Account info: name/alias, email, password or SSO identifiers. This is necessary as part of the App’s authentication sign up process.

  • Subscription: We only collect your subscription status, whether you’re a free or a paid subscriber. We do not collect your credit card details when you purchase a subscription. Everything is managed by Apple and the App Store.

  • Prompts (“User Content”): We occasionally collect prompts to better improve our App. We may also use the data to launch new products based on trending prompts.

  • Approximate location: inferred from IP for localization, safety and fraud prevention (we do not collect precise GPS location).

    2.2 Sensitive data

Please avoid entering highly sensitive data (e.g., government IDs, full payment card numbers, health/medical records).


3) How We Use Information (Purposes + Legal Bases)

We process data to:

  1. Provide the Service (create/maintain your account; sync data like username, subscription status).

  2. Improve App and Product Offerings (prompt suggestions).

  3. Security & integrity (fraud prevention, abuse detection, rate-limit enforcement, troubleshooting).

  4. Email Communications (service messages, changes to terms, important notices; optional product tips).

  5. Compliance (legal obligation if necessary).

4) How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We will only share limited data for:

  • Legal & safety: to comply with law, respond to valid legal requests, or protect users, our Service, or the public.

  • Business transfers: if we undergo a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred subject to this Policy.

5) AI Features & Your Data

What’s processed? - When you use AI features, your prompts, context, and relevant data you enter are sent to our inference stack (trusted AI vendors acting as processors).

Outputs can be wrong or incomplete - Always review AI outputs before relying on them.

If we ever build our own models and offer an opt-in to allow your content to improve those models, we’ll present a clear control in settings and honor your choice (including opt-out/withdrawal at any time). We currently do not have any such plans to build any models.

6) Your Choices & Controls

  • Account settings: update profile, preferences, and notification choices in-app.

  • Mobile settings: control push notifications and permissions (camera, photos) at the OS level.

  • Data export: We do not offer any data exporting services because we do not store your lists, tasks, notes, sessions nor calendars. Your data is stored on your device locally.

  • Account deletion: If you created an account, you can initiate deletion from within the App at Settings → Delete Account. Please review Section 12 of our Terms for more details. 

7) App Tracking Transparency (ATT) & Advertising

  • We do not use your data for cross-app tracking or targeted advertising that requires Apple’s ATT permission.

  • If we ever adopt features that involve tracking under Apple’s definitions, we will present the ATT prompt, explain the purpose, and proceed only with your explicit permission.

  • Your in-app privacy settings will reflect any future options relevant to advertising/targeting.

8) Third-Party Services & Links

Our Service may link to or integrate with third-party sites or services (e.g. OpenAI). Your use of those services is subject to their privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices.


9) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy periodically. If we make material changes, we will update our website and app, and indicate the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Policy.
